"He was a soldier of Rome. Honor him."
You will be the star of any event in this breathtaking, iconic costume. A painstaking replica of the wardrobe worn by Russell Crowe in the final battle scene with Commodus, marking the completion of Maximus' quest for justice, revenge, and peace.
The materials and construction are very similar to the screen used costumes we used as a model for our replicas, inside and out.
The wardrobe includes:
- Cuirass made of foam, covered with cowhide, trimmed with cowhide, lined with lambskin
- Cuirass embellished with cast resin medallions made from my own sculptures
- Blue linen tunic
- Gauntlets made of foam, covered, trimmed, and lined with leather. Decorated with wheat emblem cast from resin from my own sculpture
- Shoulder spaulders made of water hardened leather segments, covered in leather, trimmed with leather, lined with lambskin
- Fiberglass shin greaves
This costume is destined to become a prized possession. It makes a big impression whether on display in your den or home theater or being worn at your event!
Does not include boots.
UPDATE MAY 2021: Due to limited work space, I am planning to make these only once a year. This year, I am planning to make Gladiator suits during the last quarter of this year. Contact me if you are interested in placing a preorder for this year's production.
