Indiana Jones Holster | Raiders

5 Stars

Product Description

Indiana Jones was always carrying a gun,  and in "Raiders of the Lost Ark" it was a Smith & Wesson HE2 in .455 caliber with a custom barrel.  To carry it, he wore a custom made leather flap holster.

These Indiana Jones Raiders holsters are manufactured exclusively for Todd's Costumes. Our Raiders holsters are made from genuine cowhide leather with a bit of an aged look.  It features very authentic styling,  sturdy hand-stitched construction, and a stitched end plug.  They fit just about any revolver with a 4in or shorter barrel. They fit the Smith and Wesson HE2 or our Tanaka PFC Indy gun perfectly.  The belt loop on the back slips easily over our Indiana Jones weapons belt.

This is not just a "costume" holster - this is a real holster that will securely carry a real revolver, suitable for long term use.  Many of our customers use them as a regular holster for their real Smith & Wessons.

Leather holsters usually cost a lot more than this.  When you consider the fact that this is specially made, authentic "Raiders" replica, it's a steal at this price!

  1. Great holster 5 Star Review

Extremely happy just like the original Indy, don't hesitate to buy from Todd's

  2. Great holster, incredible price 5 Star Review

Posted by on 14th Oct 2017

This is a quality holster, well-made out of the box. Full-grain leather, the stitching is neat, even, and well-placed, especially at the end plug. If you want an authentic Indy look, though, you'll have to work for it. Good news is, this is a perfect canvas for painting your own vision. I used mink oil and paste wax polish to soften and bring up the grain, and darken the stitching.
Depending on the height of the front sight and the length of the ejector rod, this should fit most 4" barrel revolvers. It's perfect for a vintage S&W .38 Victory, especially if you don't want to mount it on a traditional webbed pistol belt. How do you do it, Todd?

  3. Fortune and Glory 5 Star Review

Posted by on 16th Jan 2017

Thankfully when Indy said "Fortune and Glory" he wasn't referring to the price for how quality this piece is.

As a prop maker and costumer- this is perfect.

As an Indy fan- it belongs in a museum.

  4. Screen Accurate and Well made! 5 Star Review

I have had this holster for almost a year and I've got to tell you, I love it so much! It can hold the Tanaka and the real thing and fit snugly, and it feels so great on your belt knowing it looks just like the real thing! Five stars for an amazing leather recreation that is sturdy, holds up to the highest standards, and looks as accurate as possible!

  5. Tood's holster is good. 5 Star Review

Posted by on 22nd Apr 2016

After lots of research, I'd say that the consensus in the forums is right: For the money, Todd's Indian Jones Holster is the way to go. It's for-sure accurate, close to the right color (I re-collored and distressed mine because I want it dead-on screen accurate). If you're looking for high quality leather, then this may not the holster for you. But if you want leather, accuracy, and good color for a costume, you can't beat the price.

  6. raiders holster 4 Star Review

Raiders holster is a great holster for the price. The dementions are pretty close to the smaller holster used in raiders. Give it 4 stars just due to the leather could be a little higher quality.

This is a very well made and quality holster for the price. Definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking to fill out their Raiders look.

  10. Bang for your buck! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 17th Jul 2015

The holster was bigger than expected (guns are illegal in my country, so I had no prior experience with holsters), but it looks great right out of the box, the leather is really thick and sturdy (so it keeps its shape) and it fits snugly on the leather weapon's belt. Great look, really finishes the costume!

  11. This holster will EXCEED your expectations 5 Star Review

Posted by on 20th May 2015

    Hello, Indiana Jones fans!

I received my Raiders pattern holster today. it is very, very high quality, ranking up there with Galco and El Paso Saddlery's work.

The leather has a slight 'distressed' texture, which fits with the Indiana Jones look.

It was also good to go, right out of the box. No waxing, coloring, etc., needed.

It also perfectly fits a S&W 4" N frame .45 ACP model 22-4 revolver. Not close, not good enough, but perfect.

Great detailing, as well. A small touch: there is a leather cover over the brass holster closure, which will prevent tarnish, and protect a gun in the holster. Small matter, but usually something I have to do myself on a gun or knife sheath.

  12. Great.....BUT 4 Star Review

Posted by on 17th Mar 2015

First let me say the quality of this product is EXCEPTIONAL. The stitching, the leather, it's definitely a quality product and worth purchasing.

The ONLY negative is that it's not big enough to hold the gun.

The barrel of the gun does not stick out the end of the case as it is sealed with a piece of leather (and it should be).

The gun that Indy uses is a Smith & Wesson Pistol Webley Mark VI Revolver. I have a prop of it and the case is about 2 to 3 inches to short - the flap which folds over wont make the clasp after the gun is in the holster.

But that is my only issue. I don't want to cut hole in the bottom, but I havent figured out a solution yet to this problem.
