This is a real whip, made from layers and layers of genuine leather, hand braided in an authentic method with a 12 strand outer layer (most whipmakers only do eight or four strands to cut cost). No part of this Indiana Jones bull whip is made by machine, it's all hand labor by skilled craftsmen. Indiana Jones Bullwhips of this kind typically cost a lot more - and by "a lot" I mean DOUBLE or TRIPLE the cost. And what's more, you have to wait weeks or months for the whip to be made. We have Indiana Jones bullwhips in stock, ready to ship immediately.
Come on, you know you don't want to wear one of those cheap, junky Indiana Jones bullwhips you get at the costume store. They're all wrong. You're here on this site because you want something better. Amaze you friends with a REAL bull whip. They'll want to hold it and admire the fine craftsmanship. And while you're at it, why don't you learn to crack it to really show it off?
You can choose from three colors and five lengths of Indiana Jones bull whips. We even have little 4' indiana Jones bullwhips for the youngsters. If you're wondering, an 8' bull whip is great for learning whip cracking, and is our most popular size. If you want to go original Raider's of the Lost Ark "screen accurate", choose the "Replica Raiders" option which is 10' long and custom dyed to match the sun-tanned natural color of the whips in Raiders. We do have the 12 footer for you if you want the biggest and baddest.
DO NOT try to crack this before educating yourself on how to do it. There are lots of training resources on the web and in print, such as Robert Dante's book "Lets Get Cracking!" Consult them before you whiplash your face. Whipcracking is a fun skill and good recreation. Be safe! Please keep out of reach of reckless children! Eye protection is HIGHLY recommended when cracking Indiana Jones bullwhips. To keep your whip in good whipping shape please try our Pecard Leather Dressing. Sold Separately.

I purchased the 10' Tan whip to be as SA as possible.
The whip seems to be made well. No loose plaits. Tight braids. The popper didn't last very long. I just ordered some more from a vendor. I did research on how to replace the popper. I couldn't find any on the way Todd's whip was attached (which I really like). I only found how to tie a knot at the end of the fall(which I didn't like).
I figured it out how to replace the popper like Todd had it or close to it. Very clean looking and NO knot on your fall.
(Un twist the loop end of your new popper about 3/4 inch then Slip the end of fall through the popper loop.
Then rap the loop all the way around the fall one time back to the top. Then take the tip of the popper and bring it through the loop from the BACK handle side so that the popper is now coming out towards the end of the whip. Adjust to correct position and placement then pull very tight and Viola!)
I also changed out the fall with a white hide one like on Raiders. This was fairly easy but I was hesitant to do so on my own.
I liked the look of the fall that came with Todd's. But I've come this far to be as SA as possible so why stop now.
The whip will crack...it is definitely possible. I am not an expert and yes this is my first whip.
Feels good in your hand and looks amazing for the costume.
Looking forward to getting a Mahogany whip next :)
Todd's is ALWAYS my first choice for any Indy gear!
Thank You for making this guy feel like a kid again!

This is my very first bullwhip and I picked a good one! It is very well made compared to other whips that I have seen around town and it is holding up very well in my opinion. The only downside to this whip is that the popper did not last very long but that is no big deal at all. I recommend buying the Pecard Leather Dressing if you want your whip to last through all of your adventures.

I was skeptical about getting one of these, but the photos looked good and they were priced WAY BELOW the high-priced versions. I already have a kangaroo 8 footer and really wanted a 10. So...why not...I'll bite.
This thing looks pretty SA right outta the box. If you really want your Indy costume to look authentic, BUY THIS NOW. You won't be disappointed.
I took it out on the farm last week and tried cracking it. It'll do it, but i couldn't get it to do so consistently. I switched between my old 8 foot 'roo and the new 10 footer (Still not certain what the leather is, but assuming cowide.) and my old one was the winner.
Still I think this is worth 4 stars - for price and authentic detail. (Also, I may not be used to trying to crack a longer whip than what I'm used to.) Great job, Todd! I'll be buying from you again. Maybe, whenever you get my size Indy pants in?

I first bought the 10 foot tan whip and loved it so much I bought an 8 foot mahogany just to have something a little different and love them both.

This whip is screen accurate, and is extremely well crafted for the price. I initially bought the mahogany, but exchanged it for the tan to naturally darken it like the original movie trilogy whips.
They are crackable, but I'm choosing to keep mine strictly as a costume piece. I recommend investing in a heavier duty whip for long-term field use.

I got the 12 footer and couldn't be happier. Love the look, feel and quality. Got the tan and it came with leather dressing too! It already has a nice color with one coat.

I had ordered an 8ft Mahogany, but was e-mailed soon after noting the mohagony was out of stock, so I got the Tan, and I am actually glad, it looks much better than I thought. I'm not great a cracking, but getting better, it's a very nice whip indeed. Thank you very much!!!

I really could not believe how accurate this whip is to the original. I have owned a kangaroo indy whip before and I bought it from a custom prop maker for considerably more money. Well, straight out of the box this whip is more accurate in all categories. Color is great(better in person) the plaiting and head knot are accurate to the on-screen original Raiders whips(which were cowhide) and the whip cracks easily! Thank you very much to Kristen for your assistance and kindness.

I bought a different 8ft whip on ebay for $70 thinking I got a deal. I did not like it. The color was wrong, braiding was loose and flimsy, and I could not get it to crack very easily.
But this 8ft whip wins in all three of those areas, and well worth the extra $30. It cracks amazingly well right out of the box. Its braiding looks beautiful and very stiff and tight. And the tan is such a great color matching with the rest of the gear. I whole heartedly give this whip 5 stars. Just wish I purchased it first.
