My Han Solo DL-44 Blaster is the result of years of fanatical research. I've procured all of the original elements possible including Veron model kit cylinders and pushrods, Hensoldt-Wetzlar scopes, and MG-81 flash suppressor and adapter. I've spec'd them all in minute detail. I've personally examined the re-assembled original blaster (sold at auction the summer of 2022 for $1,200,000) and measured it every conceivable way including weight. I've searched out the best manufacturers for each of the parts required to duplicate this prop, down to the screws. What I'm offering here is incredibly close to the real prop.
How fanatical? Well, I've reproduced every detail that can be reproduced, even details you will never see. Such as the barrel that was constructed with a heavy steel barrel cover, threaded to accept a rifle barrel for a Frank Sinatra spy movie. Such as a COMPLETE Hensold-Wetzlar scope with ALL INTERNAL PARTS, identical to the original scopes. Such as using 3 Veron model engine cylinders to construct the "grille". The scope mounting nuts have straight knurls. The scope tubes are real steel, not cheaper aluminum.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we do. But we do not know if these are legal in your country. That is for you to find out.
What about customs?
Paying the import duty your government imposes is your responsibility. Import duty is determined by your government after the shipment arrives in your country. We have no idea what your government will charge you to import anything we sell. We will not refund you the shipping charges if the parcel is returned because you refuse to pay import duty.
How much is shipping to the UK? Finland? Botswana?

Do you ever have trouble shipping these to another country?
Occasionally, yes. We do sometimes experience delays with blasters going through customs, since they are difficult to classify. It is not unusual to experience delays up to two months in customs. USPS shipments are delayed more often than UPS shipments. About 80% of our shipments get through as expected.
Do you offer tracking?
Yes, both USPS and UPS offer tracking. USPS tracking is quite limited. After the parcel arrives at your country, your government's customs department takes possession of it. USPS can't track it beyond this point. After customs has inspected, classified, and taxed it, it is handed over to a local delivery service. This agency will collect the import duty and arrange delivery. You may be required to pick it up. UPS offers better tracking because they handle the package from door to door, including collecting the import duty.

Everything about this prop is incredible. It is MASSIVE, it has such a weight in your hand. The wood grips, the real serial numbers, the dedication to accuracy is mind-blowing. It's also extremely interactive, the dials twist, the trigger pulls, its very immersive. You can't actually focus on anything through the scope (but there is glass and a crosshair, so it still feels real.) I can't imagine locking this away in a glass case because it just demands to be held and interacted with. Out of all the props I own, this one is the best one! It did take a long time to get here, but Todd was very communicative the whole way and now that its in production, it shouldn't be an issue. If you're inspired by this prop like I am, pick it up!
Amazing attention to detail!
This is such a beautiful piece! As close to screen accurate as can be, even including a dummy round inside the chamber. It's hefty (now I know why Harrison Ford always seemed to be struggling to hold it up) and all my friends who pick it up remark how how well put together it is. Todd really puts his all into these and the customer service is impeccable. I wish I could give it six stars. Thank you for bringing me a little piece of my childhood. Cheers!

Excellent
Honestly quite impressed overall. First some quibbles, then my gushing praise: - The flash hider and scope adjustment knob on mine were looser than I would like. I managed to fix the scope adjustment knob via careful disassembly with a small flat-head and tightening some of the internal screws that must have loosened in shipping. The flash hider, although easy to remove/replace /tighten with one screw also does not seem to be able to avoid rattling. This is probably due to the single screw attachment, and may be more the fault of the original prop design than this replica. I suppose a slightly tighter fit on the barrel could help, but I understand that these are mostly hand made. I resolved this issue with a small amount of electrical tape under the flash hider. - The glue holding down the ladder sight has already come undone, not a huge problem, I could probably re-do it if necessary. -Final quibble, I did not realize that the "Factory Finish" model does not include the wood grips. Fortunately I can purchase those separately, but that will mean more disassembly and modification. Not a huge deal, I just wish it was listed in the description so I would have noticed when purchasing. Despite these minor issues I still think this is one of the better, if not best replicas you can get of Han's DL-44. Although expensive, I think it is priced reasonably considering the attention to detail on these. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for a high quality showpiece/prop.
Not so happy
After looking at the photos the blaster looked so good. But the one i got does not. the wood looks faded and dull. The scope is loose and has marks on it. The finish is very plastic for such an expensive model sadly. Hope to sell mine.
