Indiana Jones Style Gloves
An Archaeologist needs work gloves. Digging, climbing, working with rope, moving rocks. That's why indiana Jones had a pair. But they ended up being used for much more than that. ![]() Soft cowhide leather Gunn cut fingers Straight thumb seams matching color binding Perfect match for the screen-used gloves Here's the story. During filming of the "Well of Souls" scene (an early scene in the shooting sequence), Spielberg decided Indy would look better wearing work gloves. So they swiped a pair of Wells-Lamont gloves from a crew member. That evening, they sent the gloves over to Western Costumes to have five copies made. Two days later, the copy-cat gloves arrived on set and were used for the rest of the film. These gloves are perfect copies of the gloves made by Western Costumes for "Raiders of the Lost Ark".
