Straight from the film "Raiders of the Lost Ark" comes an exacting replica of Indiana Jones' revolver. Not only is it a replica, but it is a fully functional PFC gun. What is "PFC"? Plug Fire Cap. This revolver can be loaded with high-power caps and fired like a real revolver! It produces a loud bang along with sparks and smoke. Just the thing for the 4th of July, Halloween, New Years Eve, theatrical use, or just having fun! We worked long and hard with Tanaka Works, one of Japan's premier replica gun manufacturers, to bring you this awesome quality replica. The materials are top notch ABS and metal, with a substantial feel. The beautiful plated "midnight gold" finish looks and feels like the real thing. It's so realistic, you could set this in the display case at your local gun dealer and no one would be the wiser. Sold exclusively in the USA by Todd's Costumes!

I have been a dealer in military antiques for the last 48 years, so, My evaluation of this item should be all you need. If you want a real example of this pistol the price is $1250.00 and the odds are your never going to shoot it. This prop gun is really all you need. The quality is fine. You should not expect the weight of the real model. Certainly worth the $195. I'm quite happy with it. The only thing I think Todd should do is get a translation of the instructions from Japanese to English. Maybe it comes with this, but I didn't get it. I would highly recommend this item.

that was all it took for me to decide this was the Best part of my Indy collection. This gun is a true-to-life replica of a S&W M1917, functioning Exactly like the real handgun. True to life single and double action functionality, good weight (though lighter than the real thing) and at night, more than impressive muzzle flash. This is not your ordinary cap gun. They just go "pop". With this, you get a real bang. At close ranges, you can even feel that you have been shot. I have held sheets of paper in front of the barrel and shooting leaves burn marks on the paper. You cannot put live ammo in it, partly because it is plastic with a metal coating, and it has a piece of plastic running the length of the barrel inside that prevents you from firing a projectile. Mostly. I have wadded up a small ball of paper out of curiosity and put it in the very end of the barrel. The paper wad easily sailed across a 30 foot room, hitting high on the wall with a thump.this thing packs a wallup! I did take the grips off of mine and put several large fishing weights in the handle, but out of the way of the spring, to get just a touch more heft

Guns are not allowed in Denmark, but I wanted something more real and substantial than a resin cast. This does the job perfectly! Made from metal this looks exactly like the gun Indy carries in Raiders! It has a nice heavy heft to it and you can even swing out the barrel. It makes a loud 'Click' noise when you pull the trigger, it looks and feels real! Awesome deal! It will make you feel more like Indy than any other weapon he carries.

I was trying to decide between this and a resin gun when my friends finally convinced me I would never be happy with resin. I am so glad they did! This gun has an amazing feel to it. Todd's did an exceptional job of making it close to film accurate as possible for a manufactured product. I little weathering and you'll be good to go.
Seriously, it's well worth the extra money to get this over a resin replica.
