| Taking pre-orders (they'll go fast!!!) If you order more then one product entire order will be shipped when boots arrive. |
Yep! They're stitching them right now, and they work fast, and that means they'll be here very soon. In fact, they're scheduled to ship May 20th!
If you're reading this, you've been waiting a long time for these!
Let me tell you about them. First off, these are TOP OF THE LINE quality! I'm so impressed with the materials, leather, finish, shape, etc. I'd put these up against the expensive brand any day! Real Goodyear welt construction with leather storm welt that splices with a plain welt at the heel. The welt is stitched completely through the top quality rubber sole. In addition, the midsole is NAILED to the insole. The authentic orthopedic heel is NAILED to the insole as well, completely though all layers of the heel. You'll note that we're dying the leather spacer on the heel black so it doesn't glare at you. The speed lace hooks are the strongest I've seen! Wow!
"Okay, so they're built like a tank, but how do they feel?" The upper leather is beautiful, supple top grain cowhide with a waxy finish and great feel. The inside is completely leather lined - the toe is lined in soft pigskin, and the rest is lined with glove-soft calfskin. The insole is genuine leather. I'm telling you, you're going to weep for joy when you get these!
And guess what? HALF SIZES this time!
We're taking pre-orders because so many people have been eagerly awaiting these boots, they're going to sell out fast! Grab your pair now!
Oh, yeah - one thing. The photo is of a production sample. Color may vary slightly, and hardware and laces will be better than what is seen on the sample.
The delivery date is only an estimate, and is subject to change.
NOTE: A lot of questions have come to me about these boots. Please click the "Sizing, Trivia, and Other Stuff" tab for Q&A.

I used to sell boots priced from $90 - over $2,000 a pair. The leather upper on this boot is very comfortable and looks great. The man-made sole will take a lot more time to break in than a leather sole, and its slick surface will need some abrading so it does not pose a problem during the icy winter months.
The price for these boots, which are almost identical to the Aldens, is what makes these boots a great value. Although the sole is not leather, which is one reason why the Aldens are so dad-gum expensive (that and attach the Indy maker's name to them), I am more comfortable making these more screen accurate to the films, i.e. wearing them out, because of the low price. If I paid nearly $500 for an Alden's pair, I'd want to keep them as nice as possible.
If you are thinking of purchasing a pair of these boots, do not pass up on their value.

bought my boots from todd about a year ago and love these things , wore them to a comic book convention and people that looked at them thought they were aldens.... thats a very good compliment. theses boots are great , now my son wants a pair , will have to get him a size 7 . agian todd thanks for the great gear!

I bought these because my job gave me a hundred dollar reimbursement once a year for boots. Best choice I could have ever made. I've had them for nearly 2 years. Had the heels redone once and half soles. Most boots I have don't make it a year, and these I've used hiking, working with horses, and once riding dirt bikes (I wouldn't recommend this but it was a spur of the moment thing...your mileage may vary! Oh yeah, on this same trip I took a small spill in my Todd's Standard Indy Jacket and thought "Crap, I'm sure it just wrecked my jacket!" Plus some other curse words going through my mind. The jacket came through unscathed which I thought was unbelievable.)
So, the bottom line...these BOOTS, like any of Todd's gear, are fully functional hard working clothes, not just costumes! Not by a long shot!
Oh yeah...and they are spot on for Indy's boot and 400 bucks cheaper than Aldens!

Quality boots that are an awesome and inexpensive alternative to the Indy boots. I wear them with casual attire and they have now become my everyday walking boot.

These are now my brown dress shoes. I wear them all the time, as well as with the rest of my gear. Not only so they look great. They are comfortable and have held up well.

After my first pair went kaput on me for manufacturing reasons, Todd was quick to replace my broken pair of boots for an even better pair! I use mine mostly for costuming as I am still afraid of damaging them, but you'll not find a more screen accurate pair of shoes for a better price. I probably don't need to worry about my boots. Lots of people have zero problems with the durability!
Pull the trigger and buy a pair. You'll love the way the feel on your feet!

Had my pair for a couple of years now. The most comfortable boots that I'd ever had. Not only just for costume wear, but for everyday wear. I've done Construction work wearing these. Also on my feet alot, and they are great for wearing, especially if you're on your feet all day long

I've had a pair of these boots for over 1 year and have worn them at least 3 time a week.
I'm happy to say they are still going strong!
When the time comes I will have this pair re-soled as I don't want to let them go.
I love these boots!!
The best part is I didn't have to shell out over $400 for a pair of Indy boots.

I've owned two pairs of Alden 405's over the course of my Indy-collecting career. They're fine boots but DARN are they getting expensive! I know some people settle for "good enough" Indy boots. and buy Redwings or Dr. Martens. They don't always look the part though. For someone looking for "better than good enough" Indy boots, Todds boots are the answer. They not only look exactly like Aldens but they're very comfortable at a fraction of the price.
The only issue I've had is some premature wearing on the heel. It's an easy fix at any local cobbler though. For the money, you can't complain! I mean, $75 vs. $400? It's a no brainer! Get some Todds Boots and hit the trail. You won't regret it!

There is a reason why people are clamoring for these boots, they are VERY nice. Todd did an exceptional job with these and they are well worth the price.
I only have two small issues with them. You really need to put an insole in them. I hike in mine for a day and my feet were a mess when I was done because of the heal attachment. Not a problem with the boot really, just spend the money on a decent insole and you should be fine.
The only other issue is that the top stitching is done for looks and is not a true moccasin style top. It's a VERY minor quibble though as I am VERY happy with these boots.
And if you want better you can always grab the $400 a pair Aldens.
