I absolutely love this hat. It has all the qualities of an expensive hat for a fraction of the price. The rabbit fur felt is velvety soft and floppy enough to mold into any hat from the movies.

I am turning mine into a Last Crusade Fedora.

Again Todd offers us yet another item that exceeds all expectations and his attention to the smallest details satisfies even the most picky Indy hat expert.

I guess like anyone else who has worn Todd's Raiders Hat will come to know how Great it is for
everyday Wear Adventure Comfort fit and true styling.
I would let the Readers know just read what others say about this Great Hat.I have recently received a replacement No there was nothing wrong with it. The size was a bit small and Todd got out a replacement for me pronto No Million Questions either simply Great Service and product backup. Also I Have come to really enjoy having this hat in my collection but more than
that once you have yours. I am sure will you share the same feelings as I and Make it a Everyday hat to wear Love & Enjoy.
On comparison I have in My Collection a Man's hat that dates from around 1930 the feel and Felt Quality compare very closely to what Todd is currently offering in his Raiders hat.
In Closing Just Buy It and Enjoy.

I just wanted to second Richard's posting below. I also found this one to be THE HAT. This hat is made of lightweight, soft, pliable fur-felt. It doesn't feel stiff like the original Downtowner. This brim seems to be better proportioned, as does the crown. The shape is more "stovepipe" and less "tapered" when compared to the Downtowner. Also worth noting (this might be a fluke for me, but) I am usually a size 59cm hat, and my 59cm Downtowner was too large. I was reluctant to order a 58cm since that size is too small for me in every other hat I've ever tried on. I went with my regular 59cm for this new Raiders hat, and BINGO- Perfect fit! We'll see how it holds up over time, but considering this hat costs only 2x or 3x the cost of the Disney hats and appears to be very close to the real-deal, I think it's worth it. Shouldn't an Indiana Jones hat actually LOOK like an Indiana Jones hat? :) Oh.. And for under $150? Sorry Charlie, but spending $300-$800 on custom beaver hats just isn't in the budget. Best Indy hat I've seen in the $100-$200 price range.
This hat went through the worst, that's why it is the best.

Hey Todd, I love the Coyle's Raider, really nice rabbit felt, the perfect shape (high pinch, tall crown, Etc.) and it has an amazing bow. I can't wait to see the Temple of Doom style hat.
Also, I want to show you an Indiana Jones style hat that I have, it is pretty unique I think.

I've been tracking down what we in the Indy world call THE HAT for about twenty years. I've got the official version...garbage, the Akubra Federation IV...nice, the Christy Adventurer...nicer. NONE of them are THE HAT. The geniuses at Todd's have finally created a hat that is IN EVERY RESPECT the original Raider's fedora. The crown is high and perfectly straight...no taper, the brim is exactly the right length and finishing and feel of the hat is perfect. This is NOT a costume hat. You're going to wear this every day and create your own legend. I wasted almost a grand on hats before I found Todd's. You live and learn. Don't waste your money on garbage "official" Indiana Jones hats. The Coyle's is it.

I picked up the open crowned hat a few days ago. Soft and easily bashable. I gave it the Raiders turn and gave it a streets of cairo bash. it hold the shape very well, and is more than a match for my Akubra. This baby will turn heads. i got a LOT of compliments from people at Disneyland, both guests and castmembers. One of the castmembers has a higher priced Indy lid, and was VERY impressed.
Todd hits another home run.

I had ordered the downtowner last year and was dissapointed when I measured myself incorrectly. Having to send it back, I was sad to learn there wasn't another one in my correct size. But Todd assured me to wait until his next generation of hat would be released at the beginning of '12. Well it was very sound advise indeed; well worth the wait. The size if perfect, the softness and texture of the material is superb. The ribbon color is the best yet; and more importantly it looks good on my ugly skull. Kudos to another quality product!

This is an awesome hat at first when i got i looked at it and thought it was awful but as i worked with it and wore it and watched Raiders i saw the famous turn and swoop and BAM it hit me WOW love it now thanks so much Todd for all the great work you do

Forget "Raiders." This is the best looking and most accurate Last Crusade hat ever! And I'll be danged if I didn't actually get that elusive "reverse taper" on my big noggin. Once again. Todd's is the best bang for the buck out there. Even if money was no object, my first stop will always be Todd's! Great quality for an unbelievable price. Seriously, consider dropping the word "costumes" from your company name. How about "Adventure Haberdashery?"

I have to say I have had other so-called Indy hats in the past all the way when Raiders first came out...and I have to tell you this has to be the most accurate not to mention very comfortable and form fitting hat I have ever wore. This looks good on me:) If you are looking for a hat that will put othe rhat makers to shame I highly recommend Todds his hats with all the little nuances I look for from Raiders is there. It is expensive, but to me it is worth it just to save the extra money and get something that will you be pleased to own. Dr. Jones would be proud.

This will not be my last order Todd. ::))))) Kudos to you man I coud not be happier.

Excellent quality and style, definetely worth the (suprisingly affordable) price for a screen accurate 'Raiders' style fedora. Surely not just a costume item, I plan on wearing mine every day!

well i ordered my hat on feb,5th and got my hat on the 9th, and was i evr pleased with how this hat looked! it was so soft and it looked beautiful. i have loved todd's other hat's but this one will give some of those other hat makers a run for their money. great work Todd , fan for life!
