Christine Piaciento of Rochester, NY dressed up
in these borrowed pieces of mine to raise money for the Duchenne Parent
Project, a group raising money for medical research relating to Duchenne's
Muscular Dystrophy. Christine has a five-year-old son afflicted with the
disease. Her co-workers promised to donate money if she would dress like
Xena for a day at work. She contacted me about borrowing a costume, and
luckily I had enough prototypes and miscellaneous pieces on hand to outfit
her. She looks happy about reaching her goal! |
