"It's made of leather (I got help with the sewing), and then I made the metal parts for the wrist bracers of sheet cooper. A little about how I made the metal parts of the armor. I started with sheet copper (3mm for wrist-,arm- & shoulder. 5mm for breast and back). Until now I'm working on the shoulder parts and I have outlined the parts for breast & back. By drilling, cutting & filing I got the right pattern and by beating (hammering?) I got the right form, which also gave some rigidity to the sheet. After polishing I aged with three different colors of matt paint. Then...voila... just to rivet copper and leather together. Hope this made some sense, even if it isn't so good English".
