You really want to look just like your favorite stick-swinging sidekick, don't you? You just can't help it. Well, then, consider having me make you one of these this little numbers! Let me illuminate you regarding the effort involved in creating this little gem. First, I carefully draw the pattern for the individual's shape and I drape-fit the fabric. Then I stabilize it and embroider
around the sides and back with a spiffy free-form leaf pattern!
After sewing it all together, I stitch and fray the edges. I reinforce the armholes and bottom edge to prevent stretching. Then I decorate the sides with beads that I hand-paint to match. I'll bet you had no idea that something so simple looking could be could so difficult to make! |
