Callisto fans rejoice! These gantlets were patterned straight from the originals for perfect proportions and detail. Nothing was overlooked, from the "dished-in" rivets, the thickness of the leather, the width of the straps, the number of lacing holes, to the number of links in the chain maile. I make these incredible gauntlets from leather, my own mesh fabric, miles of straps, and lots of hardware. The left gauntlet covers the forearm, closes in the back with three strap/buckles, and laces at the wrist with kangaroo leather laces. The right gauntlet covers the forearm and upper arm. The back closes with four strap/buckles and elastic laces at the wrist. A small triangle of metal chain maile covers the back of the hand. I takes a LOT of time to make a pair of these, so they ain't as cheap as we all wish they were. But the results are totally authentic. The original size fit an extremely twiggy arm, so send your arm measurements so I can adjust them for you.
