Callisto Boots

You just can't find these anywhere (and I am still looking!) But a "Callisto" outfit just isn't a "Callisto" outfit without the right boots.

 I hand-craft these  from top grain cowhide. I make a custom "last" (wooden shoe-form) for each customer. This takes a lot of time and effort, but it's gotta be done. I make the soles from a tough crepe with a low heel just like the originals. 

If the price seems a little steep, let me remind you: these are CUSTOM, HAND MADE boots! If you haven't had a pair of shoes made recently, let me clue you in: it isn't cheap! Making shoes is very hard work (which probably explains why no one does it.) These are not your Singapore sweat-shop specials that you get at your local Payless! They are hand-made by me with only hand tools, a household sewing machine, and a lot of blood, sweat, and tears! I'd really rather not make them, and I certainly don't get rich making boots!  I check other boot maker's prices and find that I'm on the low end for this kind of work.
